Please note carefully the following details:

Practice Expedition Meeting points and times – group travel altogether by train on group ticket from East Croydon.

· Drop off 8.00am Saturday 28 March 2026 at East Croydon Station

In the small drop off zone to the right side of the station, close to bus and tram stops. There will not be space to park up here.

· Collection approx. 4.30/5.00pm Sunday 29 March 2026 at East Croydon station – same place.

· For safeguarding reasons, ALL students MUST personally sign out with LPGS staff once they have seen you before leaving the station.

· PLEASE ALL be patient with us while this is done, and so do not hover on a yellow line as this will take a while!

· If your child will be collected by a friend’s parents, please make this clear on the consent form or by email to me BEFORE the weekend.

· If you give consent for child to travel home independently by bus/tram from Croydon to Beckenham, this needs to be indicated on the Consent form in advance please.

· We may not have access to email on Saturday nor Sunday

Payment reminder

· Thank you to those who have made payments already.

· Instalment offers are open and overdue on MCAS under “Products”.

· A separate single offer is available for pupil premium students.

Medical updates

· You will receive an Evolve consent form to cover both practice and qualifying expeditions. 

(We are aware of a technical delay.)

What to pack -see Kit List

Please note that

· Tents, stoves, gas and maps will be provided.

· Waterproofs are essential

· We have a small number of rucksacks to lend, with priority for pupil premium students. Please contact me to discuss DOE@lpgs.bromley.sch.uk

Food for the expeditions see attached notes

· Students need to plan and purchase in advance and bring ALL their food for the whole weekend. We have spoken about this in training meetings as they should be working in their walking groups to organise this well before the expeditions. See notes attached.
