Please note that groups will be walking and navigating at various paces so finish times will vary between groups from 2pm. They will stay for a debrief from instructors before they may leave. They will be asked to contact home at least 30 minutes before collection to confirm their finish time.

For safeguarding reasons, ALL students MUST personally sign out with LPGS staff once they have seen you before leaving with you.

· PLEASE ALL be patient with us while this is done.

· If your child will be collected by a friend’s parents, please make this clear by email to me BEFORE the weekend.

A reminder to students that unauthorised use of mobile phones can result in disqualification for the whole team. Please do stress this to them and we ask please that you not expect them them to contact you during the weekend. Please use the staff number and we will relay messages if needed.

Payment reminder

· Thank you to those who have made payments already. Please note that full payment must be made before your child can attend.

· Instalment offers are open and overdue on MCAS under “Products”.

· A separate single offer is available for pupil premium students.

Medical updates

· You have already completed an Evolve consent form to cover both practice and qualifying expeditions.

If there are any relevant medical updates since March please send these to me by email as well as notifying the school.

Please note that

· Tents, stoves, gas and maps will be provided.

· Waterproofs are essential

· We have a small number of rucksacks to lend, with priority for pupil premium students. Please contact me to discuss DOE@lpgs.bromley.sch.uk If your child borrowed a rucksack on the Practice expedition, these have been reserved again for you for the Qualifier and will be available at the start point again.

Food for the expeditions 

· Students need to plan and purchase in advance and bring ALL their food for the whole weekend. Students have tried out and gained further ideas from the Practice expedition. They should be working in their walking groups to organise this now before the expedition.
