There are ten tasks and you can choose a minimum of five to complete. By completing these tasks we will be able to see if you are the right person for a Business course and which one is best for you.
TASK 1 : Get set up to keep up with business news: subscribe to BBC Business Daily https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p002vsxs, Subscribe to tutor2u Youtube Channel, Subscribe to Tutor2u email updates, Follow Tutor2u on Twitter. Follow @TwoTeachersBiz.
TASK 2: Keep up with business news. After a week or so of subscribing and reading about key business articles/topics - post a summary of one of the articles/discussions/topics in the forum - whats was discussed - what was interesting about it and how can it affect businesses and consumers?
TASK 3: research task. See below. Post your answers in The Forum
TASK 4: thinking about leadership styles. Find some episodes or clips of The Office. Make a post on the forum commenting on where you think David Brent goes wrong and why.
TASK 5: watch an Episode of The Apprentice. Post on the forum: explain something a team did well or did badly - recommend how this could of been done better
TASK 6: subscribe to BBC Business Daily https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p002vsxs. Post a summary of something you read on the Forum
