        1. Task 1:
Visit an Exhibition- Victorian and Albert Museum.
I took a trip to the 'V&A', to have a look at their fashion section and considered the different types of styles across the centuries. One thing I realised is that fashion repeats itself throughout years to generations to centuries. Each generation reinforces different types of pieces and incorporates their own changes - making each piece unique.

          1. Task2:
After visiting the V&A and exploring the museums different sections - I came to the conclusion of basing my response on the fashion standards of the Victorian Era. I realised that the Victorians had incorporated a lot of the 'puff sleeve' effect amongst their clothing, and this made me realise that the 21st century also tends to use this type of features in their designs too. However, the designers reinforce new ideas which leaves us with new pieces of clothing.

The message I received from these designs is that no matter the century, fashion will always be repeated. It also made me realise that the way fashion has been presented throughout the years has changed incredibly - and it's what the generations make of it. My first reactions involved me taking a number of pictures because of how amazed I was, and made me wonder who came up with these types of designs in such an old era. Where did it all start? Who came up with these styles and produced them?
The colours were very dark toned and very much classy. Including different shades of colours; such as Burgundy, khaki, beige, black and other dark toned colours. Nevertheless, I feel that it was all varied on the event that the Victorians were attending - and that is how they picked a certain colour to be made. Techniques used included embroidery, crochet and sewing. When I look back at the images, each piece was best-poke which makes each and every piece much more precious. The outfits were made out of smooth satin fabric, however on the areas where textures look very much rough on, these were the sections which had been embroided, sewn or crocheted on, (giving more detail and texture).
