HOW LANGLEY PARK GIRLS SCHOOL VISUAL ARTS DEPARTMENT HELPS SIXTH FORM STUDENTS TRANSITION INTO FURTHER CREATIVE ARTS COURSES AT FOUNDATION AND DEGREE LEVEL
Here at LPGS we are very fortunate to have forged a long term partnership with UCA - The University of Creative Arts. This scheme enables our creative students to get involved in on going workshops at different UCA sites and so experience University life. Furthermore, UCA staff also come to LPGS to deliver workshops in specialist creative areas; workshops take plave throughout the academic year. The partnership also enables any of our Sixth Form students applying to any course at UCA a direct route onto a chosen course based on a conditional offer without having to go through the usual interview process. From Animation & Games, Fashion, Graphic Design, Music and Photography, to name a few. We are also delighted to offer our Business School for the Creative Industries, which is the first of its kind in the UK. Our alumni proudly consists of Oscar winning filmmakers, world renowned fashion designers, television presenters, celebrity jewellers and Turner Prize nominees:

Our dedicated student spaces are 100% creative, packed with bespoke studios, darkrooms, machines, kilns, cinemas, lecture theatres, libraries, workshops and dedicated software.
