Task 3: Research & Discuss

The current Pandemic has presented the world with huge challenges. Technology is proving to be key in managing the spread, treating those affected and allowing those in lockdown to do things they wouldn't otherwise be able to.

Discuss the important role technology has played during the pandemic. Your research and discussion should include at least 3 of the following areas:

1. How is technology helping towards the development of a vaccination
2. How is technology aiding retail businesses such as Amazon and organisation including schools
3. Describe a range of ways technology including drones have been used in China to track and minimise the spread of the virus.
4. Describe how technology has aided people during lockdown (what are they still able to do even though they cannot leave their houses).

5. Describe what would have been different if the pandemic had happened in 2005 (research what technology was available in 2005 and compare with what is available now)
