1 - Goodbye, Lenin! taster lesson

In Year 12 we will study the German film 'Goodbye, Lenin!' set at the time of the fall of the Berlin wall. A young man has to pretend that communist East Germany still exists to save his mother from having a second heart attack. This becomes harder and harder as life in East Germany changes beyond recognition. This is a story about family, love, lies and monumental political change.
