Task 1
There are around 500 million disabled people worldwide. They include those who have visual, hearing, speech or mental impairment and those who have lost a limb or who have restricted growth or mobility.
- Explain how the law tries to protect people with disabilities. Give examples to support your answer.
- From the example of Jesus, what should a Christian's attitude be toward disabled people? find a scripture or parable to support your answer.
- How might positive discrimination be used to benefit disabled individuals?
