Enrichment

On Wednesday 25th September, some Year 13 students went around the school to see what was happening in a range of different enrichment activities and how the younger students were finding them. These included: board games, coding club, Hogwarts, math-art, origami and pottery. They found that the students were thoroughly enjoying the opportunity to do something different to their normal studies. Some students said they felt that enrichment gave them a break from their studies whilst also teaching them something new, from problem solving in coding club to teamwork and collaboration in the Hogwarts enrichment. In pottery and origami, students had the chance to be creative - some students learned how to make an effective and decorative bookmark out of colourful paper and some learned how to make bowls out of clay! Maths-Art and board games also required a bit of problem solving but students, ultimately, had the chance to have fun and try something new. The Year 13s took some photos to give other students a better idea of what happens in each enrichment in order to help them decide what to choose next term (see below)!
