          1. Social justice is described as a goal in making sure that everyone in society matters irrespective of factors such as race, gender, age and ethnicity.
Therefore everyone is supposedly treated with rights and respect that can provide all people with equal opportunities in life chances such as education and employment where social injustice can prevail against some people based on some of the factors mentioned above.

Aim of UDHR: equal treatment, freedom of expression, protection from degrading treatment.

Human rights are not a privilege conferred by government. They are every human being's entitlement by virtue of his humanity.

The UDHR has 4 main principles: universal and inalienable, interdependent and indivisible, equal and non-discriminatory, and both rights and obligations.

                    1. Social justice: the act of ensuring that an individual contributes to society by fulfilling their roles and receive what is their due from society.

Human rights: rights that belong to every person.

It was created to protect people from torture, discrimination based on caste and colour. Also, to provide the freedom of being able to live by one’s own religious and cultural practices. Especially after WW2, the need to protect groups of different ethnicities, races and religions became immense.

“Where, after all, do universal human rights begin? In small places, close to home – so close and so small that they cannot be seen on any maps of the world. … Unless these rights have meaning there, they have little meaning anywhere. Without concerned citizen action to uphold them close to home, we shall look in vain for progress in the larger world.” – Eleanor Roosevelt
